This book was written for children but as an adult I also found it to be educational, and the book is beautifully illustrated by Spanish master illustrator Isidre Mones. Also, on Ebay I was able to acquire from a Gallery most of the original artwork from this book. Shopping on Ebay can be a beautiful thing!

I bought this book for my son, and he really loved it. The combination of photos and text ballanced out perfectly. Mr. Slater really did a exellent job of putting together a informative book that appeals to young and old alike. I always like the large book format, and it makes this book stand out very nicely. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in Firetrucks and their uses.
