The Big Book of Beautiful Babies by David Ellwand (1996

This book has been a part of my daycare library for about 3 or 4 years, and children of all ages flock to the book several times a week.
The photographs are beautifully done in black and white, and the text is quite rhythmic. Opposites such as messy and neat, wet and dry, and bottom and top are illustrated with adorable infants on each page.
Children love looking at pictures of other infants, and this book takes full advantage of that fact, resulting in an irresistible combination of both subject and text.
Thank you for reading my review, and I hope it helps you decide whether this book is right for your child's library!
Sincerely,
