Synopsis Bernie Bridges, the egotistical planner and schemer for a group of fourth-graders at The Rotten School, is determined to outsmart his rival in a pie-eating contest.
Enterprising fifth grader Bernie Bridges loves going to Rotten School. With no parents around, he and his gang get to run wild. Not only did he get the cafeteria to serve candy in place of vegetables, he talked the coach into adding "Giving Wedgies" to the varsity sports. But his nemesis, Sherman Oaks of Nyce House, has something that Bernie really wants, and he'll do anything to get it. With humorous B&W line drawings. The first installment of the ROTTEN SCHOOL series.
