Bianca Ryan by Bianca Ryan (CD, Nov-2006, Columbia USA)

Ordinarily I wouldn't buy an album by a 12 year-old singer (deep fears of bubble gum) but this is a complete exception to any "rule" anyone could have about young singers. In case you didn't see the show, Bianca is the winner of NBC's hit series America's Got Talent. Irascible Simon Cowell, the executive producer of the show said, "Bianca Ryan is potentially one of the best singers I have ever heard in my life." On the show her singing brought Brandy to her feet who said to Bianca, "You make me want to go home and practice." High praise indeed, but I don't think too much praise for this lovely voice is possible.

So just how well can a petite, apple-cheeked 12 year-old sing? I've played songs from this album for people who have no idea who she is. Then I asked them if they have an idea of how old the voice is and they have consistently said somewhere in her 30s. Bianca has the voice of an experienced adult singer with amazing emotive qualities for any singer, much less one so young. One listen to her renditions of "The Rose," "I Believe I Can Fly," "Superstar" and "You Light Up My Life" will leave you begging for more from a young lady who should become one of the greatest voices of her generation.

What a voice this little girl has. I have known her and her family personally for years. The CD brings out all the best in her voice. You go Bianca !!

When I saw her on America's Got Talent the first night I told my husband, "There's the winner!" She is amazing. The only disappointment I had with the CD is that it did not include the Janis Joplin song she sang on the show. Listen to the CD all the time.

Not surprisingly, this girl had vocal ability like no other (well, at least around her age). She showcases her amazing gift on every single track on here. The best one (or at least the most addictive song) is "Pray for a Better Day". Her main song, "And Im Telling You" is a softer rendition of her certified megahit when she first made a huge impression on the audience. Each song has its really good moments and you can hear the intensity, strength, and power to her voice. Its pretty to say that a 12 year old has a better CD than most of the other CD's that have came out lately. I bought the bonus edition from Target with the 2 bonus tracks and those songs are good as well.

I bought this cd because i like the song and i am telling you im not going
and 1 or 2 other songs the rest of the songs i've never heard but still i am happy with those three songs i like i do reccomend this cd. Bianca Ryan is a very good singer. thank you.

We saw a video of her online when she was on Americas Got Talent show and our family just had to have this CD and have not regretted buying it at all. Her voice is powerful and you can feel the passion she puts into her singing. I can't wait till she gets more of her own music out on CD

This 11 year old girl can really sing up a storm. I saw her on the TV talent show "Americas Got Talent", which she won 1st place. She really impressed me for an 11 year old. The songs on her CD are commercial well known & loved songs. That's why I bought it. It contained a lot of my favorite songs on it. It is fantastic! I listen to it a lot & enjoy it each time. I highly recommend buying this CD. Perhaps you'll be impressed too, like I was.

I've played this CD so many times I think I'am wearing it out it's amazing to hear a 12 year old sing like this when she was on america's got talent she blew everyone away the CD is great it inspires me when I play it, Her song O'Holy Night on her christmas CD is one of the best ever recorded rivaling Celine Dion

I heard Bianca on Americas Got Talent and she blew me away with such a great voice for such a young girl. You can understand her when she sings. On some of her songs the music is almost too much. All in all she sounds much more mature than her age. I would rate this CD a 4 out of 5 and recommend it to a wide variety of people. This little girl rocks. I believe she will be around for a long time because she has plenty of talent.

Well I saw this girl singing in TV and her sung was powerful and great.So when I saw this CD I thought maybe better version of this song would be on this CD.But sorry.She is just singing slowly and not the same power as when I saw it in the TV.If I could I would resend the disk and try to have refund back

...to have the opportunity to listen to this brilliant girl sing. She is amazing, astonishing, and wonderful. Her career is just starting and already she's hitting it out of the park. A prodigy already, Bianca will continue to grow and develop her vocal abilities until she becomes the legend of music she is destined to become.

Wow! This is a great cd. Her voice is awesome. We watched her in the beginning on America's Got Talent and was not suuprised she won. Great for young girls. My husband even likes it.

I happen to stumble on an old YouTube video of Bianca. I wouldn't have believed it was an 11 year old girl that was singing. I right away came here to find her CD.

I am proud to support something good for more to become of her furture. I hope she keeps up with the GREAT work. She is one of many to shine in that spotlight forever more.

I saw this girl on Americas Got Talent. At the time was 11 years old and has a fantastic voice. Wanted to make sure I got her first CD. She definately has talent.

I purchased Biana Ryan's CD after watching Bianca Ryan win on the TV Talent Show. I was very impressed with her obviously gifted voice at such a young age. Upon listening to the other songs on her CD, however, I realized that she is a diamond in the raw. With training, she is sure to become a super star but she is not there yet. Training and maturity will do it if she is persistent and I think she will be.
