Bewitched Season 5 will be the last season for Dick York as his role as Darrin Stephens on Bewitched and in Season 6 he will be replaced with Dick Sargent as the new Darrin. I think that Dick York will be missed so much because he had such wonderful chemistry with Elizabeth Montgomery on the show and he was quite funny to watch as well.
I guess this is why I am dedicating this set to him because he will truly be missed after this season and I enjoy watching all of my sets with him in it. Don't get me wrong because Dick Sargent was also a good actor but I loved the chemistry that Dick York had with Elizabeth Montgomery and I don't know if I want to continue the rest of the seasons without him.
This set has all of the same cast as the rest of the seasons of Bewitched, accept for (Marion Lorne) Aunt Clara who sadly passed away from a heart attack earlier in the year, right before the filming of Season 5. She will be surely missed!
Tabitha starts to really blossom on this season as she is growing a lot from the other seasons and her true acting ability can be easily seen. Samantha also announces in this season the good news to Darrin that she is pregnant with their second child!! Here is a list of all 30 episodes that will be included on this set to be released on July, 10, 2007. This set is already available for pre-order on various websites and the average price is $25-30, I have already reserved my copy!!
UPDATE: A small update, I received my copy and the episodes are great but there is some small transfer problems on this season but not too bad. On some of the episodes the color transfer is off, the color is rather very bright or too dim and this is mostly with disc 2 of season five. Now this is not too bothersome too watch but I thought that I would mention it and maybe with some color adjustments on the dvd player or tv this can be corrected some but the rest of the discs seem to be fine!
The rest of the seasons of Bewitched had rather great color transfers and great remastering but some of the episodes with this season unfortuantely was not remasterd as well and maybe this was a technical error but being a huge Bewitched fan I am keeping my set.

Great fifth season of a classicI now have all of the first five seasons of Bewitched on DVD. These were the seasons when Dick York was Darrin. For me, I have all the shows I wanted. I never get tired of watching these classic shows.

The last season of BewitchedDVD works well and no complaints about it, but first two seasons are better than the last. It seems the characters have sort of "gotten attitude" and are not as relaxed as the earlier versions. Overall, it is still entertaining!

After I bough the entire season, I waited for the CD's to arrive home, after approximately 3 weeks, I sent them an e-mail asking about the delay, the seller never answered, so I sent a second e-mail and again no answer. After waiting 2 more weeks I had to e-mail eBay, letting them know the problem. Immediately I got an answer from the seller, telling me that they were going to "re-ship" my order since the first one didn't have the right address". This is not true since I have bought at least 15 articles with the same address.
After I received my order, I submitted my ratings to them (not favorable), then they had the audacity to ask for a good review.
Please check all the negative feedback this seller has. I just didn't believe it. The DVD's came as promised sealed and in good condition.

I love this series and love to watch it on a rainy afternoon or in the winter when I need to relax. I decided to buy it cause it is hard to find in the stores and ebay was a great place to get it. the price was superb as well.

What a great televison series. This is definately worth the selling price. It is good wholesome family entertainment. It is one of my most favorite series that I have started collecting. You just can't beat Elizabeth Montgomery and Agnes Morehead.

Bewitched Season 5 -along with Season 4 of the series- contains some of the best Bewitched episodes. This is also Dick Yorks' final year on the series-he left because of health problems. Classic episodes of this season include: Samantha's Wedding Present, Samantha goes south for a Spell-with guest Isabel Sanford,Samanthaon the Keyboard-with guest Johnathan Harris and Fritz Feld doing the Dr. Smith and Mr. Zumdish routine,I don't want to be a Toad-Erin Murphy's favorite episode, Darrin Gone and Forgotten-with guest Mercades McCambridge, and Samatha's Power Failure-Paul Lynde returns as Uncle Arthur-and he has to get a mortal job at a drive-in diner making chocolate covered bananas rolled in nuts. This is the last great season of Bewitched-- ok season 7 is pretty good--but seasons 6 and 8 are rather banal
