Betty Crocker's New Cookbook by Betty Crocker (1996, Hardcover)

This book is the Perfect cookbook. Simple & Practical. I have had this book for about 11 years & I still use it. (what I haven't memorized) It also give tips, information, cooking times, & how to's at the begining of each section. I have planned many dinners from this book & my family loves them all. This book is a keeper. Lots of easy to follow instructions for some Great recipies. Veggies, Breads, Pastas, Salads, Meats, Sweets, & MUCH MORE!! I found some of my Favorite dishes in this book!!!

I received my first Betty Crocker Cookbook as a briday shower gift nearly 25 years ago. It served its purpose very well, but after that many years (stuck together pages, crumbs, etc.) it had to be replaced. E-bay had numerous versions of the BCC for sale, but how could I miss with one subtitled, "Everything You Need to Know to Cook"? I love the notebook-style pages: The adhesive, paperback cookbooks fall apart too easily. And the Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe beats the recipes on the chocolate chip packages hands-down. I baked a French Apple Pie using the Betty Crocker recipe for our pastor's birthday, and he said it was the best one he's ever tasted. No credit to me--it's all Betty!

I've always wanted a Betty Crocker cookbook. Since I am single, I never got a copy of this book for my pantry. On E-bay, it was listed for 99 cents. My dream of owning it became a reality. It came with some worn pages but that was okay. I knew it was a good recipe!

I like Betty Crocker's New Cookbook because the recipes are easy to follow and they are creative. The reason why I decided to but it is because I really like just about anything that is by Betty Crocker. She always has creative recipes in each of her books.

I love this cookbook. It helps me with preparation ideas and presentations. It also provides the user with a vast array of common sense recipies.

Have had this book for a long time. My daughter wanted one and thank goodness I found one on e-bay. We use many of the candy recipes for Christmas. Love it!

I borrowed this book from the friend to cook Thanksgiving dinner and dish came out great, so I purchased one for myself. I already cooked few more meals using recipes from this book and we love them as much as the first one!

This is a very nice hard cover cookbook. I like it because hard cover books tend to last longer than paper ones. It has alot of details on cooking in general. I have already learned alot about cooking from just flipping through the pages. This is a great product. I'm really glad that I won this item.

This is actually a purchase for my sister. I have the exact same cookbook that I have used since 1998. The BC Picture Cookbook is good (have that one too) but the New Cookbook is cleaner, easier to read, and more specific to this time era vs. the 1950's. Like I said earlier, I am buying this one as a gift because I love mine so much!

Bought for my wife. She has not had time to use it, but she loves her old pie cookbook......................................................................

The reason I keep coming back to Betty Crocker's Cook book is the fact that the basic recipes are included. I like it keep it on hand for the quick bread section, bisquits and pancakes are just a couple of the recipes that keep my
kitchen going, and save a lot of money by making the "good stuff" at home.
Easy to use and understand without a lot of expensive ingredients, this really is a must have for good cooks.
