For Better or for Worse by E. Mavis Hetherington, John Kelly (2002, Hardcover)

This is actually required reading for a class that I am taking. I avoided starting it because a lot of what I have read about divorce has been somewhat depressing. This book is inspiring. It is based on years of research and gives insight into what to expect, the aspects of people that lead to resiliency or defeat. I recommend this book for anyone in the helping field that is going to work with families as well as those who have been through or are going to go through a divorce.
