This 18-track anthology contains the entirety of the Creatures' first two releases, 1981's WILD THINGS double-45 package and 1983's FEAST, plus three bonus tracks by this percussion-heavy duo of Siouxsie Sioux and her drummer/husband Budgie, recorded during breaks between Siouxsie and the Banshees releases.

This collection features the Creatures' early-1980s releases, including the full-length debut, FEAST, ably showcasing the sensual, dynamic singing of Siouxsie Sioux and the percussive might and dexterity of Budgie. Moonlighting from their work as part of Siouxsie & the Banshees, the duo (who would later marry) use a minimal palette (primarily vocals and drums) to create a surprisingly full sound that's steeped in atmosphere (the lilting "Thumb"), tribal-influenced fury (the frenetic "Sky Train"), and big-band boisterousness (a horn-laden cover of Herbie Mann's "Right Now"), with the swinging latter style hinting at both future Banshees and Creatures outings.
