This album was bought specifically to hear and savor Jimi Hendrix' guitar and it was magnificent. However, most of the other non-Hendrix tracks reminded me of the type of music you would find on the "B"-side of old 45 RPMs. The liberal and artisticly unnecessary use of the "f-bomb" has taken this CD off my personal playlist; eventually I will lift the Hendrix tracks and do my own compilation of favorites.
However, the biggest fault with this album is the horrendous sound quality on all songs. It makes me wonder if someone had played an original recording and then recorded the sound from a speaker with a microphone.
Still, Jimi Hendrix was sensational. Just hearing him play "The Star-Spangles Banner" makes all the other problems seem minor.
