The best collection of DM songs, ever.Review created: 01/20/08

I bought The Best of: Depeche Mode Volume I about a week ago and I just got it in the mail about two days ago. It's a perfect collection of songs from this band from the best lyrically speaking from Martin Gore and the remains of Vince Clarke. "Suffer Well" written by David Gahan is a great addition to this cd especially since I looked forward to listening to this song every day. The variety of the songs from each album is great especially even from "Play the Angel." The booklet offers a background of the band since they started and a couple of pictures of the growing boys from Essex, England. I can't wait what volume 2 has to offer.

Depeche Mode a terrific band from a awesome era in musiThis CD is a great compilation of what made DP M what it was and what is to this day. A great band. There's one great song after another. My only problem with it is the somewhat resent songs on the CD. Their great and all, but they don't stand up to their earlier stuff. Overall this is a must buy for an 80's music fan. I decided to purchase the CD so I could experience the moody rhythmic sounds I remember from the years 86' and early 90's. If your not interested in their newer material then I suggest an earlier DePeche Mode Hits CD.

offive, 80's new waveThis group was one of the best new wave back in the 80's.Well over due for the best of.I been waiting for it for years and now I am very happy that is here.I got my copy right away.If you like 80's new wave this is a must to have.
