Three Memorable Episodes of a Great Television Show

This DVD contains three episodes of The Muppet Show with an introduction by Brian Henson preceding each. All three are very enjoyable for fans of the Muppets and of the guests, and they're appropriate for kids. It's a shame there aren't good variety shows like The Muppet Show still being made, but you can relive some great television moments with this DVD.
The first episode features Elton John as the guest. He sings some of his famous songs and jokes with the Muppets about his attire. The entire cast dresses up in wild, Elton-style getups during the one scene where Elton wears normal clothes.
The second episode stars Julie Andrews, who is extremely sweet with the Muppets. She sings a specially written song to Kermit and has a fun number with Sweetums and several other large (human-sized), scary Muppets.
The third episode brings Gene Kelly to the Muppets' theater, but he thinks he's there to watch, not perform. He serenades Miss Piggy and Gonzo backstage before teaching Kermit to dance. Then, while Rowlf plays the piano and the rest of the cast gather around to listen, Kelly sings several songs from his movies, finishing with "Singin' in the Rain."
