This is a must have for any blues listeners, for it is the foundation of blues rock. Muddy certainly doesnt play notes or chords. He plays what he feels and thinks. His guitar playing can exactly match the mood of the song and thats what made him so great. This cd is what Eric Clapton claimed made him begin playing the blues.

) You can see the hypnotic power of Muddy Waters on this CD. Contains some of the greatest blues songs and recordings and performance are exceptional. You wo't regret this one!

Best of Muddy Waters shouldn't be limited to one Cd . but they did manage to pick out some of his more memorable cuts. it leaves you wanting more and thats what most Best of compilations need to do.
