This item is grossly mislabeled. Two very early black and white and very corny Carson tapes together with two tapes of other comedians not connected with Carson or the Carson show. Stay away from this item and this vendor.

I got these for my family to enjoy I remember johnny carson just not back this far lol..Still and great joy to see him so funny, young and vibriant. I also really loved seeing all the old commercials from a time gone by.If you love johnny carson this is a must have. You will really enjoy it.

This set of 4 DVDs is unique in that it is not all "Tonight" shows. It shows the growth of Carson as an emcee, and his interaction with other stars. I never got to see him on "Who Do You Trust", so those shows were a real treat. This DVD also has portions of the Colgate Comedy Hour and the Milton Berle Show. Fun for the tv viewer who saw these in their childhood!

Total waste of moneyThis was the worse purchase I have ever made on ebay. It is very very poorly mastered versions of old television shows. I dont know what dvd format is used but it is horrible in terms on being able to control playback. Johnny Carson hardly is on the dvds. Its all kinds of other shows which are really not interesting and just unbearable to watch. The ad is basically a CON job. All I can say its too late for me, but its not too late for you, DONT BUY!
