THERE ARE ONLY 2 DVDS OUT THERE IN PUBLICATION THAT 1 KNOW OF THAT HAVE THE MATCH THAT CHANGED WRESTLING HISTORY FOREVER. INTRODUCED THE WORLD TO HARDCORE. THE IWA KING OF THE DEATHMATCH TOURNAMENT.
1995 SET THE STAGE FOR BRUTALITY AS 8 WRESTLERS TO THE TEST IN SOME OF THE MOST HARDCORE FOOTAGE I HAVE EVER SEEN!!
ENDING WITH THE NO ROPE BARB-WIRE,BARB WIRE ANYTHING,TIME BOMB EXPLOSIVE MATCH.
NOW THERE ARE 2 VERSIONS 1 IS BY BARB-WIRE ENTERTAINMENT. I WROTE A REVIEW ON THAT. IT HAS EXCELLENT PICTURE QUAULITY AND SOUND. HAS ONLY GORDY,FUNK,& SEVERN, & CATCUS JACK SPEAKING ENGLISH. THE REST HAS SUBTITLES & ACTULLY JAPANESE SYMBOLS WHICH IS REALLY COOL.

) I had been waiting for them to put this on dvd , especially with english commentary. This is what started deathmatch wrestling. I was pretty amazed by the japan tourney. Especially because cactus jack-foley and terry funk were in it. The match at the end of the tourny is crazy with the exploding barbed wire boards and barbed wire around the ring. I'm a huge fan of funk and cactus. so i had to buy this dvd to add to my collection. what was also cool was the 2nd dvd was full of deathmatches mostly from xpw. every hardcore fan needs this dvd.

this is a very rare find. the IWA king of the death match. featuring cactus jack and terry funk. most places that have it only have the strangle mania version and im not sure abut everyone but i just cant listen to ICP verbally trash a tourney that was amazing well the matches not as much as the "exploding ring of death" it was kind of a lame spot in a classic match. great item. awesome seller something i have been looking for, for a long time

) I had been looking for this hard to find Cactus Jack & Terry Funk death match footage for some time and low and behold I found it right here on Ebay.
This is a 2 disk DVD set. The first disk consists of the original Japanese Death Match tournament (with an English speaking announce team). The second disk has a bunch of highly entertaining death matches from the XPW promotion.
If you enjoy watching extreme wrestling you won't be disappointed, I sure wasn't.
