Best of Crochet on the Double by Carol Alexander (2006, Paperback)

I was very pleased when I recieved this book. Patterns from all skill levels are included (30 in all.) There are dish cloths, baby clothes and toys, afghans,a hat, slippers, even a jacket and more.
At the beginning of the book there are general instructions for crocheting with a double-ended hook. Instructions through out are clear and easy to follow. There is a how to section in the back of the book for eleven different stitches. A stitch guide for all of the basic stitches is also included on the back inside cover.
Most of the patterns are intermediate or experienced but easy patterns are also included. If you have used this technique and are tired of making simple afghans this is definitely the book for you. If you love to crochet and want a new look try this. Don't be afraid if you are a beginner the basics are given and you can build on them. This is a good all-round pattern book. I would buy it again.
