Best Of Broadway Musicals, The - Original Cast Performances from the Ed Sullivan Show (DVD, 2003)

Some "Really, really" great stuff here. As well as excerpts from various Broadway shows there are interesting interviews Ed had with different show writers and producers. There is mention of a second DVD to come. Early excerpts are black and white. From the mid 60s on color is used. A real keeper.

I bought this item because I have a 91 year old mother and this was the kind of entertainment they just dont make anymore.Although many parts were black and white the artists and the music were fabulous.So many talents are no longer with us--this was really a joy to watch and we will enjoy it many times over !!

This is an old review of broadway musicals, and I had hoped to find a more
current review.
I ordered two of these by mistake and hoped to order also best performances
of broadway. The dvd's had different item#'s, but were the same item.
These were ordered as gifts.
Also, the second shipment of the DVD, did not occur, nor did I receive a note
from ebay that it was shipped. I had to inquire and wait until they shipped
it to me.
