Bernina Bernette Deco 600 Sewing Machine

I purchased a Bernina 650 Deco Embroidery Machine and love it so much! It has two alphabets and 50 different embroidery motiffs to embroider built into it's computer. It is easy to operate! If you would like to only embroider part of a design...let's say the shamrock of a leprechan design...just move forward search or reverse search in your design and well, it's ready to be done. If you would like to stop the machine to check on the baby or laundry or tea, you name it, that is so easy, too, just hit the stop button, until you return. Also, the computer names the colored threads for three different manufacturers, so you can use similar colors and save on money with similar colors. Besides all this, if I need a reminder,the computer inside the machine, has most asked questions, even the simple threading...it would show/tell you how to, sewwww easy! My DECO has a built in needle threader so threading is quick and simple...no sqinting with a magnifyer here! Also,my machine came with a manuel, should I like to review it, however, it is sewwwwww easy to operate! The manuel does explain the different types of stabilizer, but that is simple too, as an added reference. I've purchased a larger hoop enabling me to 'move' or extend my designs from 4" x 4' field to almost double the embroidery field of 8 inches. I've used my machine to embroider names on fleece blankets and initials on hankies for gifts and even to label items going to college or camp-Wow, I saved more $$$...this machine paid for itself with all the gifts that look so professional! Oh, I forgot to tell you that maintainance is easy, too...common sense, just keep it clean of lint, threads and it has one spot to be oiled. I've enjoyed my machine so much. This little machine is the engine that could! What a work horse! Thanks Bernina, the all metal Swiss engine really is perfect...you think of everything to make embroidery with the DECO 650 simple and enjoyble!

It did great for 2 designs then spring and washer fell out. So I had to take it in to be serviced and it cost me 79.95 to be fixed
