I absolutely love Gerard Butler, so when I saw this movie I was to say the least ecstatic. Maybe my expectations were way to high or something. I couldnt even get through thirty minutes of the movie. The script was horrible and every thirty seconds it was a new scene. There was no explaining anything it was a horrible disaster and pretty cheesy. The best part was the scenery and of course Gerard. I would not recommend you waste a moment of your life watching this movie.

) Disappointed with "the other 'Beowulf'", wanted to see a live-action version, and this version was worth every penny! The areas where High Definition can really make a difference don't involve action or performance, but in image and sound, and "Beowulf & Grendel" takes the concepts to heart: most amazing non-CG locations I've ever seen, beautifully shot; all other technical aspects far above par for a non-Hollywood production; and, as always, solid performances from Skarsgaard and Butler.
