I had forgotten how clever and sharp-witted Benny Hill was. I wish I was British so I could understand half of what he says!! This is the full one hour show, so there is music and other things we as Americans never got to see. The bonus features are great too. If you ever thought of Benny as a sexist, please watch the extras and see just how beautiful of a person he really was and how he was completely focused on his art (his entire life).

I grew up really in the late 70's in America and this collection is just too funny still. My dad watched it every Saturday night and it kinda gave us a glimpse of the other side of the country (England)
You can watch it over and over again and still get more of the quick wit of Benny on every repeat. Highly recommend if you like the Monty Python type of humor.

I really enjoyed this set! Great recording and remaster but a couple episodes in black and white. I don't know why, still great DVD's.

This is the complete Thames Television run of The Benny Hill Show. It has all of the naughty bits left in,and is the funniest show ever to come from England. I would recommend anybody who loves a good laugh to purchase this set!!!!

All of Benny Hill's episodes together. Watch him change his format over the years and grow. The variety show aspect (singers etc) don't do justice by today's standards but the skit scenes are timeless. The last of the great prop actors, Benny always pleases with his cast of young ladies and his sidekick-old baldy. Great value for the collect-I payed less than a dollar per hour of show. Solid entertainment for laughts and a smile.

Some of the sketches were difficult to undestand when there was a lot of talking. There are some bawdy parts that children may not undestand or need to see.
