Bend of the River is a complete western.It has incredible scenery,pioneers facing trials in search of a home,cattledrive,a man with a past trying to make a new life,shoot outs,doublecross and indians.James Stewart shows how to really bring his character to life as he leads a cast that just adds more to a great plot.

) I seen this movie a quite few times, so I decide instead of renting all the time, I decided to just buy it. Since it was at reasonable price, that's what I did.

) This was a really enjoyable movie.. especially if you love Jimmy Stewart! The movie holds your interest throughout... the scenery is awesome.. and watching the scenes with the riverboat were a plus. I recommend this movie and hope that others find this review to be helpful. I'm not a very good critic tho' and love almost all of Jimmy Stewart's movies.
