Ben Hogan Big Ben C-S3 Driver Golf Club

it is a brand I wanted to try. But so far have not received it.I can not rate it. I don't have it Thanks

FIRST TRIED THIS CLUB AGAINST ALL THE BIG 'NAME BRANDS', TAYLORMADE-CALLAWAY-MACGREGOR-NIKE-& OTHERS, AT THE DEMO DAY AT MY CLUB. I HIT IT STRAIGHTER AND FARTHER THAN ANY OTHER DRIVER. DECIDED TO REPLACE MY MCGREGOR V-FOIL WITH THIS DRIVER AND HAVE BEEN HAPPY EVER SINCE.

For me this is a great driver. I had always has trouble getting the ball in the air but with this club (shaft) I get the ball up in air and about 20 yards longer with more control. The shaft has a low kick point to add to the highth and was designed for Hogan driver. I have 2 one for backup for later use.

I played this Hogan club out of a friend's bag and hit 7 straight - that is, seven drives in a row, right down the middle of the fairway. I laughed after every shot. I wrote down the name of the club and picked up one on eBay for under $60...that's probably about $10 per average stroke saved when you look at my game - one of the best investments I could make!

The Ben Hogan CS-3 driver is as easy to hit as any club in my bag. The 420cc head sets up nicely and gives you confidence at address. The Aldila NV shaft produces a medium-high trajectory which I like. Now here comes the excitement..
The sound produced at impact is awesome. It's a loud high-pitched metallic ping that lets you know you've "flushed it". Overall this is a superb golf club that performs as well or better than the more popular brands for a fraction of the cost. Mr. Hogan would have approved.

I bought this club because of claims of having a greater sweet spot, more distance and of course the price was less than retail. I own TaylorMade drivers TI-360, R5, R7 and I find the Ben Hogan driver more forgiving and I get more distance for a lot less money.

This is a great club for the money you cant beat it. The Aldila shaft is great its around $80 on its own so for the money you get a great combo of shaft and driver head. I prefer a smaller driver head and a square to open look at address and this club fits my eye I have owned two in the past two years and just made the change to a 8.5 extra stiff and it is sweet. I have owned all the major brand drivers and im still coming back to the hogan its just too cheap and too long. I hit a regular draw to about 270-290 and you cant beat this driver. Ben Hogan may not be as well know and the brand sold to callaway and no longer is in production but this is a quality club at an amazing price you cant go wrong with this driver!

Great club for the money.I owned one some time back and foolishly sold it.While playing golf recently with a friend I hit his Hogan and was reminded what a easy club it is to hit.From that experience I searched ebay for one.

This is a great driver and I can't believe that callaway has discontinued it. It is very long off the tee and straight - important for a duffer like myself.
I will continue to look for used ones and buy another to put in a closet if this one ever breaks. I play Ben Hogan graphite edge irons and they are also excellent

as with most of the golf equipment merchants on ebay they are very much like the people who play the game. no wonder the item was delivered in a timely manner and the club was as described in excellent condition, as promised.

i bought this club, or head rather, because i hit one a few years back at a club demo day. i like the overall feel of the club with the green aldila nv 75
in it. i had a tendacy to push it just a little right of my intended target line however it was so slight i felt i still would have consistantly hit the fairway. as i said i bought the head only and have bought a nicklaus fuji shaft to try in it. not quite as low of torque as the nv 75 and if that doesn't fill the bill i have a aldila 65. being a tad lighter i feel i'll have the confidence to bring that slight push back toward the target line. thanks, hack1158

Easy to work the ball with this club. Fade bias helps control my tendency to hook. Distance is as good as anything else. Good solid feel without being excessively noisy like a Nike or Cobra.

I am already very familiar with the Ben Hogan product and I thought that this listing gave me the opportunity to obtain a second Ben Hogan Driver at a very attractive price. The Driver was an excellent choice and was actually in better condition that I thought it might be in. It was as advertised and then some. I am very happy with my selection!

This is great club and a great buy. The shaft alone was worth the price (NV-70). I have the draw bias and have not hit a bannana since I've had it. The sound is much better than some of the new square drivers. It has a more classic look and doesn't give the appearance of a small appliance at the end of your shaft. I'm going to buy another as a back-up.

The balance and feel of the club is outstanding. I gained around 25 yards on my drives and I can actually put the ball in the area I aim at. It is a wonderful club and I highly recommend it. I purchased this club because I have some arthritis issues and I have lost quite a bit of distance with my drives. This club helped me regain some of that lost distance.

I've tried 6 different drivers over the past 2 years - name brands and clones. - This is by far the longest and most forgiving - I'm 53 years old and would occassionally hit 300 yard drives with the other drivers (if they were in the fairway) - With the Hogan, I consistently hit 300,310 and more - and the drives are in the fairway much more often - and what a great sound when you hit the ball - I got the 8.5 deg nuetral -stiff shaft and it still launches the ball high - I am looking for a 7.5 deg for a backup!!! best driver ever!!!

I was in a golf scramble one day last fall and the lady in our group had a Hogan CS-3 and she nailed it long and straight. I got on E-bay and ordered a draw bias, 10.5 degree Aldila shafted NV Hogan in regular flex and tried it out for myself. I hit it long and straight right out of the box. It has a very authoritative sound when it makes contact to say the least. With the regular shaft it really launches the ball high and far. I have hit other peoples name brand makes and none go as far or straight as this Hogan. After using the 10.5 regular for three months I looked on E-bay and ordered a 8.5 degree neutral bias head on a NV regular shaft. For me it has a very slight fade(probably the carpenter and not the hammer here) but it is very manageable.
I play Hogan irons and have purchased 15 sets of Hogan irons for the start of a small collection. All are top notch and feel great. I am 6'4" and weight 240 pounds and when I don't rush the swing 275-290 yard drives are almost routine and I have nailed many out over 310 and more. Those are verified by laser yardage finders or in league competition. I carry a 9.9 handicap card and feel if I practiced my short game I could cut that is half real quick. The Hogan clubs are for real and all are quality clubs. I feel Hogans are probably the best kept secret on E-bay and the price is right.

I have owned four drivers in the past three years. This one is the straightest driver I have hit yet. I think it may be related to the shaft flex also, since the new Ben Hogan has a stiff flex and all the rest were regular flex graphite. I have regular flex on all my other clubs and don't have a high swing speed, 41 years old, but the larger heads tend to twist more and maybe the stiffer shaft helps keep it in line better. I also purchased the 12 degree version, so less side spin may also help.

This is a wonderful driver. It is very easy to hit. I purchased the neutral 9.5 with a stiff shaft. Ben Hogan is a Callaway company so you're getting quality club. The stock shaft is an Aldila shaft which is a nice shaft. The club has a great classic look to it and it is very straight. The sound off the face is nice much like a Big Bertha and hits the ball far like them too.

A friend of mine had one that I tried and I liked it so much I decided to buy one.I love this club. The order was exactly what I wanted. The club looked like brand new. Seller was great and right on time with sending of the club.

I bought this driver in hopes of helping cure my slice. Although it didn't eliminate it completely it sure did help. Can actually get it to draw sometimes. Had a Mactec nvg2 9* loft and can almost hit as far with more accuracy. Still trying to get used to it (played 3 or 4 rounds) but am already convinced I have found my driver. Last round shot low 80's, and looking forward to even better rounds. Tried several clubs (Taylormade, Callaway and Hibore) with hibore being the most consistent but found this hogan on EBAY for much less and deciced to try it. Sure glad I did.
