First off: The Bettinardi putters are flat out gorgeous! Nevermind Scotty, these are works of art, every single one of them. The milling is flawless and the shapes are artful renderings of functionality. (Got a little poetic there, I'll get over it).
This particular mallet has two thick top lines that make alignment a snap and the mill patterns on the sides help ensure that the putter is level to the ground, (if you see more than one of the ridges, your off). It is extremely precise when it comes to distance control. The feedback on the speed imparted is phenomenal. If your main putting flaw is speed, take this one for a spin.
It is not as exact on pushes and pulls and off center hits as the feedback on those are a little vague in comparison. You think you have just hit the perfect stroke just to look up and notice that the ball is not heading down that perfect line you just imagined. That's why it's currently my backup putter, the one I go to when my first choice is letting me down.
It still manages to get top grade however, it's an excellent putter that is easy to align and delivers phenomenal distance control through a solid stroke. Not to mention that it looks like a million dollars doing it!
