Ben Hogan BHB12-The Hawk Putter Golf Club

I thought I was buying a 35 inch putter, but it was a 34 inch. I am glad it was, because I am putting better than I have in a long time and shot one of my best scores ever this week, a 77. This was largely due to this putter. It took a little getting used to with the center shaft, but I do not believe I have ever had a better putter in my 36 years of golfing.

I own this putter and love it. Smooth feel, fantastic weighting. I think the biggest reason it's so great is simple physics. The putter is center shafted (the shaft enters the putter in the middle of the club) so if you open or close the putter by accident the degree that is changed in the middle of the club is much less than a heel mounted putter. I highly recommend this putter, amazing feel and great control.

I bought an average condition putter to compair with my Oddessey 2 Ball. The alignment markings are easier to line up, and the center shaft keeps the face square at impact. Since I bought the Hogan, I have not played a single round using the 2 Ball. I am thinking of purchasing a brand new one, and giving the used on to my son. He would rather have the used Hogan than the Oddessey.

Putter is exactly what my wife wanted. She loves it. Is in like new condition and I got it for a GREAT price. Much less than new.

When I opened shipping carton, I was surprised! When you've got a putter associated with Ben Hogan, and with The Hawk as its title, you would probably expect something strong and sleek looking. Well, this Hawk putter is anything but! It has a very pleasing appearance, but the sheer volume of the clubhead makes me think more along the lines of an eagle. Both are birds of prey, however, and this putter definitely meets that goal. It sets up nice, provides a confident feel, and strokes well. And best of all, it can be relied upon to act like a homing pigeon - IT REALLY DELIVERS THE GOODS!!!

Bettinardi makes great putters. This Ben Hogan putter is an excellent choice for golfers who have trouble lining up putts. the impact and roll of your golf ball is so smooth you will not believe it. So buy one of these putters or quit complaining how bad you putt.

I was not sure about this putter when I first tried it out, simply because of its look. Thank goodness I picked it up...after testing it and many other top line models in the golf shop, this one I felt out performed ALL and has since improved my game out on the course.
If you are considering a center shaft putter, its very hard to beat this club with a Bettinardi design and for a great price!!!!

The Hawk has me LIGHTS OUT. Putting has become a real strength of my game now. My girl friend's father is the reason why I had ever seen the HAWK. I was always jealous when we would play because he would always but better than me but his putting stroke was so ugly and inconsistent. I had a very old odyssey knock off and loved to three putt. That putter had zero feel. The Hawk has really helped me with my long putts.
