The forged feel of all Ben Hogan products, combined with their quality workmanship and appealing aesthetics, made them the envy of the golf industry. It is a shame that Callaway has not continued with this brand in the US. Buy up Ben Hogan products while you can, because they like will become more and more difficult to obtain over the coming years.

In particular, the Apex Plus line is a cavity back iron with a more traditional look at address, which I like. I particularly like the amount of offset these clubs have, as they are perfect for someone who naturally hits the ball right to left. Today's clubs are so offset in an effort to help the average player correct his or her slice that you cannot work the ball with them and they actually exaggerate a nice draw into a duck hook.

You can't go wrong with Hogans.

The club is a very forgiving forged cavity back. It is forgiving but does not mean it can't be worked. The topline is a bit thick but it helps with the weight distribution on the clubface. Very solid feel at impact.

Love the design and the playability of the club. Ben Hogans are the sister company of Callaway and they are quality clubs as well.

The Clubs were in much better condition then I expected. They were in like new condition. I had never hit these clubs before. I bought them to get better results from my long irons. I have gotten 18 to 25 more yards in distance and the line is much straighter. I like the feel.
