Bellydance - Tribal Fusion NYC (DVD, 2007)

I decided to buy this dvd because I have not been successful finding an exercise that targets abdominals. Well this dvd certianly does. The instructor talks you through each movement and drills you over and over. I have had it for about a month now and can see improvement in my midsection already.

Darshan is an excellent dancer. Her instructions are clear and easy to understand. However, she's dancing against a green screen. You can't tell if she's moving forward or backward because there is no ground. You can't focus on her movements. It's a great video that actually teaches you techniques used in tribal dance. I would recommend it.

This was a good DVD. This one goes quickly into dance steps but explained well enough that you can follow along.

I love all the differences from other Tribal Fusion DVDs, but I don't really like how she's CONSTANTLY talking. I was hoping to be able to listen to just the music during my workout with a little bit of instruction here or there. She's an excellent dancer, just not a great talker. Good buy!

She definately knows whaat she is doing. The moves are great!!!

i like the amount of combos that are in the dvd. It shares the creativity of other dancer's choreography. Once you learn basics, choreography is always welcome.

I love the NYC series of Tribal Fusion videos.
Always very talented dancers who can explain the movements so the average person can understand how their done.

Great DvD, hope to purchase more of the same DVDs that are Tribal Fusion. Best one that I have purchase in a long time.
