Movie Description
Suhailia Salimpour is an acclaimed performer and instructor of bellydance. She is also the creator of the Suhaila Salimpour School of Dance, the first school to reward a certificate in Middle Eastern Dance to its students. Here, she joins her dance company in a celebration of one of the most sensual dance forms. The concert consists of seven solo performances, and seven group pieces. Adorned in elaborate costumes, the dancers draw inspiration from modern and classic techniques. Swirling their veils, and balancing swords and water jugs with their bodies, the dancers become a hypnotic spectacle of fluid movement that works perfectly in conjunction with the music.
