Sera is a good teacher. Her directions are easy to follow. Allow not all the time can you see the foot movement you can easily get the jist of how to do the movement after a couple of times. The chick with the shaven head who dances behind Sera is easier to follow along with sometimes then the instructer.

The east coast tribal dvd is a wonderful way to stretch and isolate you body movements for dance. They will teach you step by step a choreographed emsemble that can be used to many different songs.
Definitly helps you create fluid movements and enhances your grace.

To the women that want a bit of sensuality in their lives. This is way better than just your run of the mill belly dance. This is America damn it, and this just goes to show how inovative we are at taking something and making it unique to us. I got several for all my girlfriends. When I first bought this DVD I was a bit leary of how it would suit me. But once I worked out with it , the following day I was sore in placed I didnt even think muscle existed. It's great, sexy and anyone would enjoy learning this. Great product for the money.

I was looking for some basic bellydance instructional dvd's so I could get the basics at home where my lack of flexibility wouldn't be an embarrassment. I find this dvd to be very helpful. It has a full exercise workout section which goes slowly enough to figure out what to do and how, but fast enough to make it worth doing (ie it's a good workout starter). That exercize portion uses the essence of bellydance moves, thus aiding in doing the combo's and techniques for bellydance later on. Sera's a really great teacher, explaining the 'how to's' wonderfully for a beginner. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone interested in basic bellydance or wanting to make their own style a hint more 'tribal'.

i enjoyed this style of warm up and dance. the combos were very nice and i like the loose manner that they dance in. very nice
