Movie Description
The fiddle is a notoriously difficult instrument to embark upon learning--though well worth the effort--and there are few teachers more capable of making this undertaking accessible and manageable than veteran bluegrass musician Dan Huckabee. A 1976 Dobro Champion with five solo records and several bluegrass bands under his belt, Dan has chosen to devote himself to musical instruction, and this lesson serves to help students over the initial hump with coverage of all the basics needed to move on to the next level. Dan teaches his students how to properly hold the bow and fiddle, tuning, beginning shuffle, scales, and exercises, and detailed instructions on form and technique. BEGINNING COUNTRY AND BLUEGRASS FIDDLE WITH DAN HUCKABEE is designed to equip students with hints from the expert that will make the learning process a great deal easier in the long run.
