Beginning Algebra by K. Elayn Martin-Gay (2004)

I've taken algebra many times.. many years ago and out of all the algebra books I've gone through, none compares to the ones authored by K. Elayn Martin-Gay. She makes learning algebra much easier to comprehend. So I've bought this book to help my daughter with her algebra. I highly recommend this excellent book!

i really needed a math book and i loved the deal i got because it was very affordable and the book was in excellent conditions!

I buy all my college books on half.com. the books at the book store on campus are about twice as much. after I am done with it I turn around and sell for the same price I got it for instead of losing money I come out even.

I bought the book for my daughter who needed the book for her college MT65 class and I could not afford to pay $150. The book was in great shape and looked like it was brand new. The person that I bought the book from took really good care of it. Thanks alot!

I bought this book for my algebra class and I bought it here on half.com for less than half price. Buying books here is much better than buying them at your school. You get the exact same thing but for a much better price....thanks half.com sellers !!!!

The books were in excellent condition just as described. It did, however, take a while to get them. But since the price was so low, I really didn't mind at all. Thank you for saving me a hell of a lot of money that I would have spent in a student bookstore!

There were too many problems in the book! Each lesson had around 100 math problems! Luckily, my teacher only made me do a select few. Sometimes, even the problems in a lesson did not match up with the examples, so there was no way to solve them!

I really enjoyed buying off of ebay. The bidding was fun I am a gambler just joking but I was good I had started to get worried at one point because ever book that i had bided on someone else was alway out bidding me . So finally I just gave up and when I did> I told myself I am going to check one more time , and guess what I got the bbook that I needed for my class.

This book is detailed; each section of each chapter fully covers the concept to be learned. There's no uneccessary clutter on the pages, just explanations, examples, and solutions. I don't have to flip through tons of pages to find a specific process I have trouble with.

I dont know what to think about the book because the seller did not return all messages as to why i have not recieved the item. This item was purchased early December,2006 and it is now January 8,2007.

The explanation about every equation is very poor and confusing. I had to buy another book to understand the meaning. The same happened to several of my classmates.

THIS BOOK WAS PRACTICALLY NEW WHEN I GOT A HOLD OF IT 1 WEEK AFTER I HAD BOUGHT IT. THE EDGES WEREN'T BENT. THE PAGES WERE CRISP, THIS EXPERIENCE DEFINITLY MADE ME WANT TO START GETTING MY BOOKS FROM THIS WEBSTIE

I have yet to receive my book, and I have yet to hear anything back from the seller! This was the worst mistake I have ever made ... I have to pay for my own books for college and thought that this would be a helpful way to do so, I was wrong! $50 is a lot of money when you can barely afford $20 a week for groceries!

I attempted to purchase a text book for my son, who is attending college. I've purchased many other things online without any problems. However, at a time when I could least afford it I was "ripped-off" by this despicable person. I purchased a book for $58... and then had to spend another $95 (of money I didn't have to spare) so my son could stay current with this studies.

I started doing some research/investigating, wrote to other purchasers from same seller; in an attempt to get contact info on the seller. Wrote the seller numerous times, as I wanted to speed up the delivery process. Though as we now know there is a reason that seller only offered "media mail", so he could make his getaway.

I also attempted to contact half.com but was met with further resistance. The customer service representative I spoke with was NOT helpful at all. When I told her that their "security" department needed to be contacted about this she replied "you are never going to talk to them or get connected, get online and communicate that way". Even after I told her that a "crime" had been committed. She didn't seem to care much. I even requested that a supervisor call me back directly on a toll-free number. But no one ever called me.

I WILL NEVER USE HALF.COM EVER AGAIN! WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO USE THEM EITHER. Though I know they're associated with eBay, their customer service skills are non-existent!

I am very displeased with this transaction; for I did not recieve my book nor have I yet to get a refund! The sell never contacted me though I tried on several occassion! I'm still awaiting my refund and in the mean time I had to purchase another copy from someone else because I need it for class; this really stinks!!

I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE BOOK YET AND I HAVE FILED A CLAIM AND I AM CURRENTLY WAITEING ON A RESPONCE.

I ordered this book september 29th and it is now october 3rd I have filed a complaint to try and recieve my money back. I also tried to contact the seller but he/she is not writing back this person is just tring to get your money so please don't buy anything from this seller.
