I bought this movie simply because Johnny Depp is in it. He has two very minor roles - but I wanted it to complete my Depp Collection. The story is a good one, although it's hard to stay interested continuously. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone simply as a "good watch."

It is hard to believe that the minor role of a "sell-out" actor such as Johnny Depp can overshadow the harrowing and utterly brilliant performance of the most talented actor of our time, Javier Bardem, in a film that beautifully articulates the tragic consequences of intolerance on the human soul.

Before Night FallsThis is an okay movie throughout, but Johnny Depp is not in it much-which is why we got it--In his scenes he is a blonde and in drag! Its a performance Depp fans have to see ! He makes a beautiful woman and its a real tour de force! This brief scene is worth the price of the movie! Don
