bariatric surgery book okay

As a pre-op bariatric surgery patient, I found this book to be insightful and helpful. Author speaks in terms we can all understand. Trying to Relate to her fancier lifestyle did not come real easy for me. She speaks as a woman who has everything, goes everywhere, and travels alot. The advice regarding her struggles with frequently dining out with friends and going to cocktail parties may at first appear pretentious and snobbish, but at some point, we can all relate to her as a person just trying to live her usual life, but with unusual nutritional constraints. Her tips and hints on how to survive outings and parties are relevant and can be helpful. This book helps us to take a look at this drastic lifestyle change from a different angle. I would not make this book my #1 must-read on this topic, but it is worth taking a look, especially if your lifestyle takes you on many journies and your meals are mostly served to you in fine dining establishments. I am happy I read it.
