Beethoven's Hair: The Haunting is a mini-game that explores the strange tale of a lock of Beethoven's hair taken by a child on the composer's deathbed. As part of a larger web site, Beethoven’s Hair: The Haunting explores the adventures of a lock of Beethoven’s hair that moved through hands and across continents in a global odyssey. The game, designed by BAFTA award-winning game artist Alex Mahew, is a purported haunting of the web site. The ghost teases and cajoles you as you lure your somewhat disoriented butterfly through layers of manuscripts, photos, music, paintings, and artifacts that have been imaginatively intertwined in this playful exploration of Beethoven's life and work.
