Industry Reviews Beguiling white bunny Rosie takes center page in this cheery pair of lift-the-flap concept books. While preschoolers' daily routines are familiar fare on the bookshelves, Yee's sweet rendition sets these volumes apart. A brief bit of text on each left-hand page encourages readers to participate in Rosie's activities ("Help Rosie wash her face," "Help Rosie show us her picture") by lifting a flap on the facing page. In an inventive touch, artwork on the underside of the flaps changes the action in the scene. The text also builds vocabulary by listing a few objects that children can search for in the chipper, boldly outlined paintings ("What's in the bathtub with Rosie?... soap, duck, washcloth"). Bold swatches of rich color saturate these sturdy pages, which are sure to get lots of wear. Ages 2-5. (Mar.) Lopate
