Beckett's Unofficial Guide to Pokemon has it's pro's and its cons. The pro's definitly outwiegh the con's however.

I do enjoy the tid bits of information on the different cards, the high color photos, and the check list. That is what makes this guide great for kids and pro sellers alike. The guide is great for kids wanting to play or collect!

Collectors and occasional sellers, however, may be surprised to realize that the pokemon market is constantly changing, (almost day to day) and that reading a guide once a month or yearly, may come with inaccuracies. The guide DOES NOT REFLECT EBAY PRICES (Which fluctuates during each auction), but rather "street" (Comic Book Store) prices.

All and all, the book is good for a check list, and the monitoring of monthly changes (up and down) - and the occasional rough guide to trading cards.
