Because of Winn-Dixie (DVD, 2009, DVD Cash)

LASt summer I got this on pay per view... My nephew and son were like OH MY GOSH its a girl movie!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!! Regardless, we popped the popcorn and settled in to watch. They loved it, my son saw the dvd at the store a few months later and begged to get it. Its one we've added to our collection and have watched a few times. Just a feel good movie.

A very charming story for the whole family. I found it had a good range of odd ball town people and an interesting plot.

This movie is terrific! It is clean and fun to watch with the WHOLE family! My daughters love it. I didn't have to worry about them seeing and hearing inappropriate material. If you are looking for action/adventure this is not a movie for you, however, if you are just looking for some good clean fun for your family I would say - you NEED this in your movie library!

I watched the movie with my grandsons and we loved it.Great family oriented values.Hard to find movies like this anymore.I would highly recommend it for children and adults.

It's the story of a lonely young girl who moves to a small town with her
preacher dad. Since her mother left when she was a toddler, she finds herself
virtually alone except for her father, and also friendless until a big and big-hearted dog comes along and changes not only her life but also the lives of everyone he meets.
This is truly a funny, touching, and heart-warmng movie that everyone will enjoy. Best of all, it's free of the filth, violence, and innuendo that saturates most of today's entertainment, so, parents, watch it with your children. Single adults will like it too.
I highly rcommend it.

THIS IS A CUTE FILM BUT IT IS EXACTALLY WHAT YOU WOULD EXPECT! A FILM ABOUT AN ODD LITTLE GIRL WHO MEETS A SMILING DOG IN WINN-DIXIE AND TAKES IT HOME AND OF COURSE THE DOG WILL CHANGE HER LIFE. IT IS A SWEET FILM BUT IT DOES LINGER ON FOR A WHILE AND OF COURSE ITS SAD. IT IS JUST LIKE MY DOG SKIP EXCEPT MY DOG SKIP WAS ALOT BETTER IN MY OPINION! THE LITTLE GIRL IN THE FILM MEETS ALOT OF NEW FOLKS AND LEARNS DIFFERENT THINGS ABOUT ALL THESE CHARACTERS WHILE ALSO TRYING TO LEARN ABOUT HER OWN MOTHER WHO APPARENTLY LEFT HER AND HER PREACHER DAD WHEN SHE WAS A BABY, AND FOR SOME STRANGE REASON THE PREACHER DOES NOT WANT TO DISCUSS HER MOM WITH HER AT ALL! AND THE PREACHER DID NOT WANT WINN-DIXIE TO START WITH EITHER. THE PREACHER AS SHE CALLS HIM IS A VERY STRANGE CHARACTER HIMSELF! BUT IT IS A GOOD FILM FOR THE FAMILY BUT NOTHING REALLY SPECTACULAR HERE! SO DONT GET YOUR HOPES UP!

I like the movie, because of the fact it has a animal in the movie that I wanted to see. I decided to buy it because I heard it was funny.

Not much to say- My son wanted the movie and I bought it quickly on ebay- seller was prompt in delivery - very satisfied.

I love this movie. Hollywood dosn't turn out enough movies like this that have a good story and good actors. Doesn't make fun of religion (that's a switch)and has good character building lessons for young people. Easy to watch over and over.

a fantastic family movie! a real feel-good, warm-fuzzy story. it's appropriate for any age, and all ages will enjoy it.

This is a wonderful movie that takes you back to small town life and the trials we all face in one way or another. Very moving and thought provoking. Excellent cast. Recommended for all ages.

Great movie. I bought it for my daughter (4 years old). She loves it. It is cute enough for kids and good enough for adults. I love the fact that Dave Matthews is in it. He actually acts pretty good!

I bought this as a christmas gift for someone because my nieces loved the movie. I figured if they like it then the people that I bought it for would like it also.

One of my favorite movies! So great Jeff Daniels is down to earth preacher and lovable dad to his years ahead smart daughter! Their dog is the cutest I've seen yet. His smile is so realistic. It will put a smile on anyones' face! Highly recommended!

the only thing i ahve to say is this movie was one of the best i've seen in a long time......if you get a chance please watch it. the little girl in this movie...one word...FABULOUS!!!!!

A very family friendly movie. No vulgar language, scenes or humor. Clean family fun. This movie dealt with the loneliness that people live with today because we are a self serving disconnected society. The characters in this movie are brought together to share their sadnesses and re-connect to help each other heal from past griefs. At the same time a raggedy stray dog helps them laugh at themselves and each other through his antics. I saw a portion of this movie on TV and wanted to see the whole thing so I immediately found and bought it on ebay. I'm glad I did.

If you haven't seen this movie you are missing something wonderful. If you are sad, worried, tense or grumpy, secure a copy of this movie and watch it and if you don't like it I'll kiss your Dog ( or maybe you'll want to) I am sure glad I got to see it, it is simply the kind of family movie that makes everyone happy.

This ebayer was very fast, had excellent prices and a wide variety of DVD's. My DVD was new and in perfect condition and my family is enjoying it very much. I have this ebayer listed in my favorites because I will definitely shop with them again and again.

This is a great movie. This movie shows a lot of love between a father and his daughter. It also proves that all people can get along, no matter of there sex, race or gender.

This is a great video for the whole family to enjoy. It is not very "deep" in its message or teaching, but it certainly is a "feel-good" flick about how a dog and a lonely girl bring joy into the lives of lonely, hurting people. One curse word mars the family-friendly dialog.

I purchased this movie to share with grandchildren. A super experience when shared with a 6-year old and a 9-year old.

My daughter recently read the book for school so I promised her the movie when she got the book done.

It was a retired version from blockbuster and was in excellent condition until the very end where it froze. The widescreen side works though.
