The CAV laserdisc is letterboxed, and also includes a short documentary, "The Making of Beauty and the Beast." Both laserdisc formats are available only for a limited time. Lyricist and Executive Producer Howard Ashman died of AIDS in March 1991, before the film opened. "Beauty and the Beast" is dedicated to him. Shot in Technicolor. Rated BBFC U. This film is currently on moratorium. Reviews  Beauty & the Beast , Disney, 2002 VHS tape I love this Disney movie, it is my absolute favorite. My sons are toddlers and they must of watched it 4 times the first day. I think that can tell you what a great purchase this was. I recommend this title for your family movie library. The tape is in great condition.
