Beauty and the Beast (1992, VHS)

The movie always keeps your interest in mind. Make's you feel like your part of the story. You wind up routing for the good guys and sometimes the bad guys, or character's in the movie. There never too long, or too short, just right. I suggest sitting down and watching a Disney movie, of your choice, today. Believe me, it's well worth the time.

I bought this for my 9 year old grandson...who is appearing in a local play of Beauty and the Beast

He had seen it before but did not own it

He watched it over and over and enjoyed the songs ...the color..and the story line

I recommend it for ages 3 and up to adult

I got the Tape because my son loves it. I looked everywhere for this tape and they all told me that the tape was no longer for sale and that it was in the volt. So one day my son teacher told me to try ebay on the internet and I did. So he was so pleased and so was I. So that's why I decided to buy it.

I bought this for a friend, I only buy clamshell cases ,,
this particular one even had the walt disney seal on it ,
I collect the clamshell disney movies, and this one is one of my all time favorites, im sure my friend will love it too, she is 82 and has never seen this movie,so to me it was a great find

I have loved this movie since the first time I saw it. I was a kid then and I just purchased it for my kids. They LOVE it, too! It is a cute story with beautiful music.

Great movie. The kids will really enjoy!! To see how an animal can turn into a charming guy and a beautiful woman can fall in love with a mean gruesome animal is quite an ironic situation that will be enjojable to all. A must see!

This is a Disney classic and was able to purchase as new, and still sealed. I gave it to my boyfriend as a gift, was perfect. He's my Beast:)

The cassette was in good condition and the movie quality was great! I am in love with the movie. It is a wonderful story of a french girl who fell in love with an awful beast who was a prince who then became a wonderful person while still a beast and then he and belle (the french girl) fell in love with each other and the prince became human again and they lived happily ever after. The movie teaches that the beauty and the character found within us are what truly matters, not external looks.

The movie was shipped really quickly, and seems to be in good condition. My kids have really enjoyed watching it and we would definatly order again from this person :)

I hav loved this movie since it came out! It has a mixture of princess stuff, but also great for little boys, too! It has a cranky beast, beautiful Princess, a motherly teapot, and humerous candlestick and clock! It's good all around!

I remember being young and watching the movie in aww! I mean like the part when the beast turns into the prince is really a moving scene. In actuality I was hoping to, sort of recapture that first moment....Well, as they say it's never like the first time, but it was pretty close.....Prooders

My grand kids are enjoying this movie, just about every night. We are now looking for more kids freindly movies.

I ordered the vhs Beauty and the Beast. On Monday the movie came thursday, much sooner than anticipated. I am so Happy.

I bought this movie for my 4-year old daughter who loves all the Disney princesses. This movie was also my favorite as a child and I like Belle the best because she is the only brunette princess out there. :>)

This is a wonderful movie and it show that there is more to someone other than there outer apperance

I bought it because my husband is directing a high school version of the Broadway play, and some of the students had never seen it. It is exactly what I wanted! Now they can know a bit more about their characters.

Loved this movie when I was a kid & it's still great as an adult! Wonderful music. Engaging characters. Fairytale-ending.

My daughter borrowed this movie from her Aunt and fell in love with it. I decided to buy it for her a couple months ago and she still watches it a couple times a week.

excellent movie with beautiful songs. Great price. Okay, it was VHS but it was a few bucks compared with DVD prices hovering around $40!!!

I have loved this movie since I was a little girl. The lady that I bought it from sold it really cheap so I couldnt pass that up. I didnt really dislike anything about it, the only thing that she said was it didnt skip which indeed it did. Other than that I love it and so do my kids.

The product is perfect--I like the earlier version of Beauty and the Beast better than the updated DVD. In my opinion, the original needed no improvement. It was great to find a factory-wrapped unused copy, too.

I love Disney movies, and the item was just how it was described. I'm very satisfied with the product.

This movie is exactly what I would expect from Disney- quality animation, great music, it reflects somewhat traditional values, it contains a moral that is easy for even the youngest of children to understand AND it manages to entertain the adults in the audience, as well as the children (without adding anything too inappropriate for the children). I also like that the heroine, Belle, is portrayed as somewhat of an intellectual and that she demonstrates much respect for her father (even though many of the townsfolk think he is a crackpot). However, be aware that it does contain several rather intense scenes that could be scary for the younger ones. I would recommend screening first if your child is at all sensitive.

In his foolish youth a handsome prince turns away a beautiful enchantress disguised as a hag because of her appearance. To teach him a lesson- that true beauty lies within- she places a curse over him turning him into a "beast" that can only be lifted when he learns the true meaning of love and is able to earn the love of another despite his "beastly" appearance.

I purchased this great Disney VHS tape for my daughter. We live in New Orleans and lost EVERYTHING during Hurricane Katrina. This was one of our favorite movies to watch. I am slowly trying to rebuild her Disney collection of movies and thought this would be a great addition. I was very happy with my purchase, it came just as promised.
