The Beauty Workbook by Cynthia Robins (2001, Hardcover, Spiral)

The Beauty Workbook was one of the first beauty books I bought when looking into buying books for information. This book is filled with all types of tips and tricks and hints that I really did, I took out a note pad and starting taking notes!
When it comes to taking care of one's face or putting on makeup, everyone
has their own way of doing it. If you want to learn more about makeup than start in Chapter 3. So you understand a bit about the author, there is a quote in the on page 53 that pretty much somes up her thoughts about if you can wear it or not.

"I believe that you're either born with the makeup gene or you are not. You either love cosmetices or you don't.
Either you wear red lipstick or it wears you." Cynthia Robins author

The whole book is about a commonsense approach to skin care, makeup, hair, and nails. It doesn't matter where you are from or how much you know, this book will open your eyes even more and teach you without feeling like you are being looked down upon because you didn't know.

Here is simple tips from page 159 about nails.
"Dark nail polish is high maintenance; it requires constant attention. Lighter polishes do not show wear as readly and don't look insightly if they chip". Cynthia Robins, did you know that? I didn't.

This book is filled with so much information that you need to read it more than once or like I did, thumb through it and look for information of a item that I want to know more about. I am into nail polish so I read the last chapter first and pick up so much on nails that I ended up writing a article about it.

If you need a book on beauty, this is a simple filled to the max book on beauty. Are you a makeup addict? Check on page 60 to find out. One last thing, its has a ringed binder so you can lay it flat when trying out something new. You won't ruin the binding when having the book opened all the time. This is one book build to be used, so go use it!
