Good book to read if you have skin of color
I bought this book to add to my dermatology library. There are some very important lessons to be learned for people with skin of color, for instance, not all products or procedures offered in the "cosmetic" world are indicated for this skin type. Procedures are explained, typical prices for procedures and products are discussed. Very useful, covers many common topics, like chemical peels, dangerous products, keloids, dark marks, ashy skin etc. Each of the 33 chapters is only a few pages long. Reads more like magazine articles to me which is a negative, but you have to understand... I love to read textbooks!! I think the average reader would definitely get some useful information from this book.
