Beautiful Eyes [CD & DVD] by Taylor Swift (CD, Jul-2008, 2 Discs, Big Machine)

The alternate versions of songs are great, and the DVD is very entertaining. This will only get harder to find, so get it while you can.

The cd came quick, but the case was cracked a little and the cds themselves had smears on them. However, this is a rare item and the price was decent compared to the people selling it for $80.00 on some websites.

A lot of money, but for any Taylor Swift fan, it's worth every penny!! :)

This is an AWESOME addition to any Taylor Swift fan's collection. A Walmart exclusive limited edition that is no longer available in store, it's rare and getting harder to get a hold of. While there are only 6 song tracks, there are songs here that aren't available on her other albums, and over 60 minutes of video content. The music videos are for songs on this album and her first album. Two-thirds of the DVD content include an ACM Awards performance, a GAC New Artist special, and the making of the "Picture to Burn" video. Lots of home video type content, which I really love about Taylor; it makes her seem more down to earth and family and fan-oriented. GREAT for those of us who can't get enough, and still want more TAYLOR!!

THis is a great present for anyone for Christmas. Taylor is at her best!!! From watching the video for "Should've said no" to listening to the sweet melody of "Beautiful Eyes." Taylor is a superstar!!! She is well on her way to being Country Music's Entertainer of the Year in my opinion!! You will love this CD/DVD!!!!!!

The I learned more about her from the DVD and it was entertaining to watch her as always. The new songs beautiful eyes and I heart ? are amazing. And new versions of 3 classics were nice too. Some might not notice the differences though. I'm only me when I'm with you is a classic as well. Much easier to attain on this CD than on the more expensive/rare Deluxe Edition of her first CD. All in all a great purchase.

This CD/DVD set is worth it moreso for the video component than the audio component. Though the alternate/acoustic versions and radio edit of three of Swift's hits are interesting enough, and "I'm Only Me When I'm With You" stands out amongst the new songs,these few songs alone would not be enough to make the purchase worth it. If you are only a casual listener, I'm sure you'd be just as happy getting Swift's full length albums, "Taylor Swift" and "Fearless", which offer a greater selection and more standouts.

However, the DVD features the music videos for the singles released by Swift from her debut album, as well as home video type videos set to a couple of the new songs. On top of this, there is some interesting and fairly in depth interview and behind the scenes footage that adds to the entertainment value of the product. As a completist and quite a fan of Swift's who is enjoying her evolution into a mature songwriter, I would recommend this set to other diehard fans, if not necessarily to a first time listener.
