I wanted to secure a copy for my collection before the goverment took it away like they do everything else thats good!!

A trippy classic that my four and seven year olds love. There is something timeless and universally appealing about the music of the Beatles.

As a fan of the Beatles' music, I felt owning the Yellow Submarine dvd was simply the next step after the cds. I knew the movie was animated, but didn't know what else to expect. Through pretty much the entire movie, the Beatles' music is played. For me, that is what made the movie truly enjoyable. The animation and story itself won't soon become my favorite. The story is very much, "out there." A little too much for my taste. And one thing I found rather odd, was that even though all of the music is their music, including songs written for the movie, they do not do the speaking voices. If I had to buy the movie again though, I would. It's most certainly worth it for the music. And to any fan, who enjoys more than the casual listen of their music, I would say it's a worth while purchase.

Been many a long year since i saw this film. It was as much fun as i remembered it and the quality is superb. I also recently got the LEIT BE DVD and while it was totally enjoyable the quality was more along the lines of a VHS tape. If your a Beatles fan both will please you but it is nice to have the best you can get.

I love this movie. It has a lot of great beatles songs on it, and it is what I imagine an acid trip would look like. Way to go Beatles. Of you are a beatles fan, buy this movie.

I love this movie. It is a great story of a Utopia called Pepperland where music, peace and love are evident in every part of society. Until one day the Blue Meanies attack and take control. A lone man escapes and seeks help from George, John,Paul and Ringo. This movie is about their journey. It is a classic movie... great for any fan of The Beatles.

The only thing bad about my order was that the dvd had some scratches on it which was weird since it was "factory sealed." But it played and all the features work so the scratches do not matter!!

A fun story, and the animation is excellent, especially given the technology of the time (1968). And of course the music is nothing short of great. But then, it's The Beatles, right?

In my opinion it is the best movie that the Beatles made. Good animation (Peter Max, I think), great music, cute story. In this movie the Beatles become Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band as they battle the blue meanies. A 'must have' for any Beatles lover!

It was the best ever. I totally love it and am keeping it forever and ever. The beatles are god. I had the best trip of my life. The music is inspirational i wish they were all still around together. its unfair to be born in a time without john lennon. it makes me not want to be here. this dvd saved my life. i will worship it every night. la la la la.

Great movie for young and old. I remember when this movie first came out. My 6 Year old son Loves this movie. We sit and watch it together.

A classic, like most things of this time very psychedelic and fun. This is the third copy I have bought my man. He is a HUGE Beatles fan just like his father. The music is cool and the animation is bright and sometimes a little strange. What I dislike about this movie is we keep losing it. It is not cheap to keep buying it. Overall if you like the other Beatles movies, then you will like this one. It has a lot of Brittish humor.

Reliving the days of the past sometimes isn't easy to do. Even some music can take you back for a moment. I really enjoyed this as a child and it seemed appropiate to my collection to add this DVD. The excellent condition it arrived and the communication with the seller went very well. Thanks Patrick

I bought the DVD for my 16 year old daughter who is just discovering the Beatles. She wanted a copy of the movie and I have to say I forgot just how enjoyable it really is. Those screaming Blue meanies are so funny and so is the whole story line. This has to be something for all ages!

This was the movie that set the prescedent for all the animation of today that was different from Disney style. This is a must see movie. Very entertaining, but then it is the Beatles!
