Bruce Spizer has done it again!

There is no doubt about it; noted author Bruce Spizer has created the very best series of books regarding the American-released records from The Beatles. His sixth, and final, installment in this series is entitled 'The Beatles Swan Song: "She Loves You" & Other Records', and is a perfectly fine addition to these books. In this volume, he explores the records released on the Swan, United Artists, Decca, MGM, Metro, Atco, Clarion, and Polydor labels that came out during the mid-to-late 60s. Swan records distributed the "She Loves You" single while United Artists did the same with the "A Hard Day's Night" album. All known existing variations of picture sleeves, album covers, record labels and promotional materials are shown in brilliant detail. There is also a fascinating look at the Capitol releases from the 70s and 80s; including "Rock 'N' Roll Music", "Love Songs", "Rarities", "Reel Music", "20 Greatest Hits", "Past Masters", and an interesting section devoted to the unreleased "Sessions" album from the mid-80s. The accompanying text is as thoroughly accurate as you can get. Plus, there is also updated information about the original Vee-Jay, Capitol and Apple releases. Altogether, this book brings an outstanding conclusion to perhaps the very best series of books about The Beatles ever published.
