Movie Description A day-by-day look at The Beatles' first tour in the USA, beginning with their arrival on February 7, 1964. Featured is off-stage footage of the four band members on the road and in their hotel rooms as they sample American culture and clown around. Included is never-before-seen coverage of their activities in New York, Washington D.C., and Miami shot by the Maysles Brothers (the masterminds behind the pioneering Rolling Stones documentary GIMME SHELTER). THE FIRST U.S. VISIT also includes three of the Beatles' unforgettable performances on the Ed Sullivan Show--preserved intact--as well as their first American concert in Washington, D.C., in its entirety.
