The Bear and the Dragon by Tom Clancy (2000, Hardcover)

As long as you are of reasonable intelligence (if you are eBaying, I assume you are!), you will probably love this book! It is a little wordy, but it only adds to the writing. If you are a reader, definitely give this book a chance!

Tom Clancy is one of my favorite authors, I have read nearly all of his books, And my only complaint is that he doesnt write fast enough, I need at least one new book every week :O)
I wont divulge any plots of the book because if you are like me you dont wont to know the plots untill you reach them in the book.
But I do highly recomend this book.

This book was just terrible. It had too many subplots and one of them took up 100 pages to express his opinion on abortion, which had nothing to do with the story. He comes up with highly improbably scenarios, a Japanese technician allowed to work in the inner sanctum computers of the Chinese heirarchy, no Tom, some hatreds and predjudices never die and that is one of them. I doubt you ever were in China, and if you were, never left the confines of the hotel area.
Your characters are bad, terrible dialogue and some of them as just right out of the funny pages. I cannot give a rating lower than poor, but I do know that I won't run out of paper to start my campfires anytime soon, this almost 1000 page waste of trees will find a use eventually.

It was hardcover. I bought it for my husband. One of our cats scratched up his other copy. We were glad to get the hardcover to prevent that from happening again.
