My nephew (age 2) absolutely adores the Bear in the Big Blue House. He has three DVDs from the series (going to the doctor, potty time, and tidy time) and is equally interested in all of them. I can't say they have influenced him since he still screams at the doctor's office from start to finish and refuses to go on the potty chair, though he is not averse to tidying up on occasion. But he loves Bear and the sweet, gentle tone of the show seems to be very soothing to him. He knows the names of the characters too. I like the positive messages too. I highly recommend Bear. For reference, my nephew also loves the Backyardigans and Dora and Diego.

Thank God for Bear. He is the best.Kids and adults love him and he is a great teacher! He is right up there with Blues Clues as my girls are watching both all the time! I like to watch him too..lol..i'm 37
