Another update on an old favorite, "Beanstalk" has fun with the tale of Jack, a wise-cracking kid who stumbles upon some giant bean pods unearthed by a wacky scientist. Climbing the beanstalk, Jack encounters a family of giants, etc., etc. This broad film is not high art, but it is an inoffensive, non-violent film suitable for all ages.
