Beadwork Creates Earrings by Jean Campbell (2005, Paperback)

This is a wonderful book for both inspiration and instruction. It features 30 designs, each is very clearly photographed and illustrated with step by step instructions. There are a variety of beadwork techniques featured, as well as types of beads featured. Its a safe bet that if you have some odd beads that are hanging around in your collection, this book will give you some great ideas of how to use them! The cover features a stunning 1960-70's inspired wirewrap design which uses large drop beads, and the instructions show two other samples of this design using two other colorways and different wire wrapping techniques. Also included are designs featuring delica beads, lampwork beads, vintage crystals, cabochons, and wirework. Some techniques which have been done and re-done (such as peyote stitch and brick stitch) are tackled in a way that makes them feel fresh. There are just so many ideas in this book, and its all in a nice compact format (4 by 10 inches)which will fit in any small case or tote. It's very clearly illustrated and explained, and would also make a super gift book. Highly recommended!
