Portable and easy to carry

What an awesome book! I had browsed it at the local bookstore for months, but wasn't going to pay $30.00 for it. It it small enough to carry with me, and lays flat...what a great idea! The instructions and illustrations are very concise, but easy to understand. My imagination took off. I'll have projects going in no time!

I wanted this book to learn how to do bead embroidery, however, even though it shows every stitch possible in embroidery, it really didn't give me what I was looking for. If you want to learn embroidery on its broad spectrum, then this book is a great one. I would have liked to see more of the stitching with beads then with floss.

Really didn't need a book for beginners. I've taken silk ribbon embroidery and just wanted to know the official way of adding some beadwork to it. I like the quality of this book. Well organized, lots of full color photos, and the paper is glossy. The print is NOT too awfully small either. I can see getting some good use out of this book.

this book reminds me allot of the ones country bumpkin puts out- (a-z books). full of patterns and instructions. very happy with purchase.
