This was My First Patterson, and I thought it was GREAT!!!

Many people were dissapointed in this book. It was my first James Patterson novel and I really enjoyed it.

I understand where people are coming from when they complain about
the writing style, as it can sometimes be confusing, especially if you're engrossed in the book and forget to check the chapter header.

I love the short chapters. It makes the book incredibly easy to
read before bed (I just can't fall asleep in-midst chapter)

Patterson keeps you guessing from the beginning, and when you finally learn the truth...

People who give away the ending by complaining about it for whatever
reason are doing a disservice to all people reading these reviews.

I personally LOVED the ending, it was great, even if there is a small problem with it.

Borrow or Buy?: Do people buy books anymore? Even if they do, I'd borrow this one first. The writing style might get on some peoples nerves, and it's really tough to recommend whether a book this worth buying.

This audiobook was excellent! I normally only listen to a book once and move on. I had to listen to this one again right away to figure out what I missed. It was so good! A must read, especially for Patterson lovers.

James Patterson writes interesting novels, but this one is a cut above the rest. I listened to it on aubiobook and it kept me interested, not thrilled, but interested until the last 4 or so chapters. LOL...what a great surprise ending.

I love this author and audio books so that I can listen to when I communte to work everyday.I decided to buy it because the price was awesome and the seller had great reviews so I wasn't afraid of not getting what was described.

Let me be clear up front: I love James Patterson books. All of them. Except this one. Did he actually write the majority of this one, or was his second fiddle responsible?

The book is very hard to follow at first with all the new character introductions. Each chapter is written with a point of view from a specific character and that was equally difficult. I did not like the style, but my biggest gripe is once the book is done and you go back in your mind to review how it was laid out ... it makes no sense. Without giving up the script, how can the situations happen once you understand the ending? It can't ... so you are grateful for a "cliff hanger", but if you think about it ... it makes absolutely no sense. There are many chapters in the book (things that happened) that were impossible and can't be explained.

I wanted to read this book because I love Long Island and have read quite a few of Patterson books and enjoyed them. This one was somewhat confusing, because it had a lot of characters. The oral reading of the story as always with Patterson's book was fantastic and Baldwin did a great job with his character. The end of the book was a surprise. Not your average who-done-it...it was still a good mystery if even a little confusing to listen to (for me anyway).

This was a new CD and the cost was much less to buy on eBay than any place else.
This was a great purchase. And James Patterson is a great writer. The deliver was quick and the payment was dealt with smoothly.

This is one of the best books that I have read in a long time. James Patterson wove a very intricate story. The characters were engaging; the plot twist was wild; and the ending was spell-binding. This book was money well-spent!

As most of all Patterson books this was active and exciting, with some great twists, I really like how he move you around with his idea's and made this an enjoyable capitvating book to listen too.. Highly recommend.

I love audio books, and I like James patterson's work. I bought the book becsause James Patterson is one of my favorite authors and because the price was right, I got it at a bargain. This was a great book with a surprising ending.

It kept my attention and shocked the heck out of me! I bought because I love these two writers patterson and Dejonge, they have proved to be a great combo!

I read all of James Patterson"s books, however, some joint ventures are more captivating than this one was. All of his works with Alex Cross & the Girls club are excellent.
