Wow! Eddie Jefferson, the Father/Creator of the Black American style of jazz singing known as Vocalese (after which "King" Pleasure modeled himself) is at it again, sparking emotion and natural syncopated phrasing into solos. He and Dizzy create this album's jazz authenticity. Also appearing are Eddie's students "King" Pleasure and Annie Ross.
Thanks to Eddie, this is a wonderful CD. Check some of Eddie Jefferson's albums, especially the one Titled Vocalese. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
